The Ph.D. programs in “Business Economics and Strategy” and “Advanced Management of Smart Health Technology” were founded in 2009. In adapting to the trend of a globalized world, we have had widespread recruitment of international students since then. These programs’ objective is to educate and prepare doctoral candidates from diverse backgrounds for business management, academic research, and industry and government institutions talents.

The curriculum offers opportunities for research specializations in accounting, finance, information systems, management, and marketing. The resulting curriculum provides graduates with a strong theoretical knowledge base, methodological skills necessary, and development of professional practices for success in today’s academic and industrial environments.

To ensure the quality of the Ph.D. programs, graduates of the programs are trained to plan and execute quality research publishable in major scholarly journals, and to attend domestic and international seminars interacting with scholars and practitioners. Results of their research are expected to advance both the theory and practice of business and management. Ph.D. students develop research competencies by completing course requirements and working with faculty advisors on research projects.
