Asia University’s Department of Business Administration recently held a gathering for students in its Vietnamese international program, bringing together 44 first- and second-year students. The event introduced a comprehensive support network covering academic learning, Chinese language development, professional certification, career preparation, and daily life on campus.

To help new students adapt more smoothly, the department has also introduced a peer mentoring system in which senior students assist first-year students with courses, campus life, and everyday challenges. This cross-year support helps students develop a stronger sense of belonging and confidence in their new learning environment.

Department Chair Shu-Hui Chuang encouraged students to take an active role in campus activities, communicate with faculty and classmates, and make full use of university resources. The university also provides support through the Office of International Affairs, language learning units, and dedicated staff familiar with Vietnamese student affairs.

In addition to academic and daily-life support, students are encouraged to strengthen their Chinese proficiency, pursue professional certifications, and participate in industry visits and cultural exchange activities. The Chinese Language Center also encourages students to work toward TOCFL Level B2 to enhance their academic and future career opportunities.

The Department of Business Administration will continue to strengthen peer mentoring, language learning, professional certification, industry engagement, and career development support, helping Vietnamese students adapt to life at Asia University while building professional skills, cross-cultural competence, and international perspectives.
